I still do not believe that Pastor Akin is no more on this part of the divide as I am still recollecting vividly our last chit chat in Hayes on 17th May 2018. You were your usual humorous self trying to cajole me to worshipping in your Church at Reading but you dropped the suggestion when you realized that my trip was just for 4days and parted by saying we will see in the summer. You were an epitome of great humility and respect. I am of the strong belief that the Almighty has a good reason for calling you back home to continue the evangelical work you have been known for on this planet. In this regard I am sure you will be welcome in heaven with God’s banner with the inscription “Welcome home and well done my faithful servant”
Thank you for being overseeing the naming ceremonies of our 3 grandchildren in the UK - the last of which you performed diligently in Hayes on 17th May 2018 without any inkling of death lurking around.
Pastor Akin - you were a great loss to RCCG Victory Parish, Reading and a gain to the Saints triumphant.
May your pleasant soul Rest In Peace and May the Almighty comfort your immediate family and the larger RCCG @ Victory Parish Reading.
