Thrush my dear friend, I got to meet Pastor Akin. Hearing of your passing is something I can't quite her round my head nor accept. So over the past few days I have often thought of how kind you were to me when my dear friend joyfully introduced me to her precious Pastor. Each time I visited Reading and worshiped at Victory @ Reading, Pastor Akin never ceased to extend his kindness to me. So much so that I was shocked that he requested I be his Wife's Chief Bridesaid at their wedding. I didn't know how to receive it. I was perplexed and I wondered why me? Out of all the wonderful ladies at his Church, he favoured me and honoured me with this Duty to serve His bride. The wedding day was wonderful. Pastor Akin danced with such great happiness and joy. Victory at reading was overjoyed. It was a beautiful day and Pastor Akin remembered to show his care and kindness to me, an obscure lady who frequented Reading to visit her friend. Now, how do I contend or grapple with Pastor Akin's passing. Two extremely opposite situations- His Wedding and now his Passing. I don't k iw what else to say, but that I remember this Kind man, who was kind to me on period in my life where I needed it in droves. God Bless you Pastor Akin. God uphold your beautiful wide Dr. Tosin and your wonderful sons. Dance on now at the Fathers presence. I guess your wedding day dance was just a warm up to the eternal dance of worship to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Adieu Pastor. Till we meet to part no more at the Lord wedding banquet.
